Andy Dalton attends TCU Pro Day; Bengals workout there in offseason

Andy Dalton and his Bengals receivers workout at TCU in the offseason, but Friday was all about the Horned Frogs pro day.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Though the Bengals didn't have any confirmed scouts or coaches in attendance for TCU's pro day, they were represented in the form of former Horned Frogs, the great Andy Dalton.

This isn't the first time Dalton has been back to TCU, as head coach Gary Patterson said Dalton and Bengals receivers workout there in the offseason. He also has been shooting hoops with current Horned Frogs in his spare time.

However, Friday saw the winningest QB in program history on hand to watch this year's TCU draft-eligible players, the most notable of which is Paul Dawson. The outside linebacker is someone the Bengals could be looking at in Round 2 to boost their thin linebacker corps.

Another guy to watch out for is cornerback Kevin White, who led TCU with 11 pass breakups and 13 passes defended to go with two interceptions this past season. He's one of the more underrated corners in this class, and would be a solid pickup in Round 2 or 3.

Here's how CBS Sports ranked all of TCU's prospects:
