Cincinnati Bengals attend Auburn Pro Day

The Cincinnati Bengals attended Auburn's pro day on Tuesday, scouting the 21 prospects that participated in drills -- some of whom weren't invited to the NFL Scouting Combine.

The Cincinnati Bengals were one of 32 teams (uh hum... every NFL team on planet Earth) that attended Auburn's pro day on Tuesday, per AL.com. There were 21 prospects that participated, headlined by wide receiver Sammie Coates, defensive tackle Gabe Wright, and center Reese Dismukes. However, the quarterback turned defensive back Nick Marshall completed 21 of 22 passes with decent accuracy on the deep pass. Per AL.com.

Marshall chose to sit out agility drills like the 40-yard dash Tuesday and stuck with his numbers at the NFL Combine. He also arrived at Auburn's Pro Day 10 pounds heavier at 217 pounds -- "I went home and got some home-cooked meals," he said. -- but his sole focus was to participate in quarterback, defensive back and special teams drills in front of representatives from all 32 NFL teams.

"He's not as used to doing those drills as the other guys, but he catches the ball beautifully," NFL Network analyst Mike Mayock said after observing Marshall in person Tuesday. "That's what I go back to: he's an athlete."
