The day before NFL free agency opens saw many big transactions made, including the Texans cutting Andre Johnson.
He was the biggest name to join the market, while Jerry Hughes was the biggest player taken off it after he re-signed with the Buffalo Bills. Hughes would have been one of the top pass-rushers on the market had the Bills lost him, but now he's staying in Buffalo.
The other big-name player to come off the market was Brandon Flowers after the Pro Bowl cornerback re-signed with the Chargers. He agreed to a new contract with San Diego over the weekend, and the team announced the deal on Monday once it was signed, sealed and delivered.
Here's a list of all the Monday NFL transactions:
Buffalo Bills Re-signed DE Jerry Hughes.
Carolina Panthers Re-signed WR Brenton Bersin, C Brian Folkerts and LB Ben Jacobs to one-year contracts and RB Fozzy Whittaker and Ted Ginn, Jr. to two-year contracts.
