Best/worst case scenarios for Bengals' schedule
One of the more anticipated days of the offseason will take place this week when the NFL releases the regular-season schedule for all 32 teams. To this point, the opponents and locations are known, but now the league divulges when those games will take place over the course of 17 weeks.

A.J. Green of Cincinnati Bengals in no 'rush' for new contract after fruitless talks
A.J. Green said Monday his representatives and the Cincinnati Bengals met in February to discuss signing him to a long-term deal. With Green still slated to hit free agency next March, the meeting at the NFL scouting combine in Indianapolis was apparently fruitless. The four-time Pro Bowl wideout is starting his fifth season with uncertainty about his long-term future in Cincinnati looming.

CINCINNATI: Bengals' Marvin Jones fully recovered from ankle surgery | NFL Football | The News Tribune
Receiver Marvin Jones was fully recovered from ankle surgery as the Cincinnati Bengals opened their offseason workouts on Monday, a huge boost for an offense that spent most of last season without some of its top pass catchers. Jones said he still gets some soreness in his right ankle, but he's cleared to do everything without restriction. Jones has been running pass routes to get back into playing shape.

Bengals return to focus
The Bengals showed up Monday for the first day of voluntary workouts with a first-round pick looking for a job, a franchise wide receiver not looking for a deal just yet, and a quarterback finding one of his big targets ready to go. Four-time Pro Bowl wide receiver A.J. Green, heading into his contract year, said his agent has talked to the Bengals once about a new deal but he has no concerns if he doesn’t have an extension by the regular-season opener. "I handle the part of playing. I’m not hurting for money,’ said Green, who has a one-year, $10.4 million deal for this season. "I got my option. That’s enough for now. I’m just focused on football. Next year will take care of itself."

Bengals must search draft's middle rounds for tight end
The Bengals need a tight end. Maybe more than one. Before diving into the upcoming NFL draft's (April 30-May 2) outlook at the position, that much remains certain. When the primary option on the roster is Tyler Eifert, who managed only eight snaps last season after enduring an offseason also spent battling injuries and a rookie year cut short by a neck stinger, the need for depth is paramount.
