A potential day one starter, TE Jeff Heuerman has a lot of interest from NFL scouts.

Heuerman made the second team All-Big Ten in 2014 after starting every game for the National Champion Buckeyes. Many scouts will talk more about his 2013 campaign than his 2014 season due to some injuries and the turmoil at quarterback for the Buckeyes.

In 2013, Heuerman showed great speed and ability to adjust to footballs that were thrown off target. He is excellent at finding the football and leaping to get it at its highest point.

Some of Heuerman’s weaknesses are his strength on the field. Although he is well known as a weight room leader, it doesn't always translate to the field as he is easily moved off his blocks in pass and run blocking.

Heuerman is looked at as a potential rookie starter and has been mocked as high as the third round. Though, it’s more than likely he’ll wind up as a 4th or 5th round pick.
