Bengals worked out UCLA quarterback Brett Hundley

The Cincinnati Bengals previously met with UCLA quarterback Brett Hundley at the 2015 National Scouting Combine and have parleyed that interest into an actual workout.

Cincinnati Bengals quarterbacks coach Ken Zampese met with UCLA quarterback Brett Hundley at the NFL Scouting Combine in February where he was peppered "with questions throughout their brief encounters, and the young signal-caller was able to convey his football IQ while bringing up numerous examples of his leadership abilities from his four seasons at UCLA."

Cincinnati's interest in Hundley appears to be greater than a few question and answer sessions at the combine. According to NFL media insider Ian Rapoport, the Bengals are one of three teams who have worked out Hundley:

Due-diligence? A need?

The true quarterback battle in Cincinnati figures to be between the recently signed Josh Johnson and A.J. McCarron, vying for the team's primary backup quarterback position. Beyond that, we're not going to waste your time speculating on any possibility of this even happening.
