The Cincinnati Bengals have signed Oregon cornerback Troy Hill, according to multiple reports (including NE Patriots Draft). NOTE: While this is being widely reported/believed, limited confirmation has been provided as of this posting. This is one of those situations where we'll probably have to wait for the Bengals to announce it.
Hill, from Youngstown, Ohio, posted an interception, a forced fumble, 59 tackles and 16 passes defensed in 2014. Our own Anthony Cosenza interviewed Hill during the NFLPA Bowl game following Ohio State's win during the National Championship game.

"When you go back in his history you find out that he's always had a chip on his shoulder and that is what fuels him. He uses it to be a better football player. There are some maturity issues with him that concern me though." -- NFC director of scoutingBOTTOM LINE
Improved by leaps and bounds from last year to this after becoming a full-time starter. Plays with competitive toughness and improving confidence in coverage. Hill has the athleticism and ball skills to be an NFL cornerback, but his slight frame is a substantial concern. Concerns surrounding his off-field character could hurt his draft stock.
Hill was suspended at the end of 2013 for a domestic "incident" and pleaded "down to misdemeanor menacing and was ordered to take anger control classes."
