The Cincinnati Bengals have signed Duke defensive lineman Dezmond Johnson, according to Fox Sports and GoDuke.com.

Johnson, a 6-4, 260-pound defensive end from Nashville, Tenn., was a four-year letterwinner and three-time Academic All-ACC selection for the Blue Devils. He played in 48 career games with 14 starting assignments. He was on the field for 1,655 career snaps and finished his tenure with 85 tackles, 16.5 tackles for lost yardage (-70 yards), 7.5 sacks (-35 yards), 10 quarterback pressures, two pass breakups and two fumbles recoveries. Johnson booked a career-high 1.5 sacks against Virginia Tech in 2014 and turned in a personal-best 2.0 tackles for lost yardage against Wake Forest (2011), Troy (2013) and Syracuse (2014).
The Bengals will release the official list of college free agents who signed with the team this week.
