Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Jake Kumerow, signed as a college free agent following the 2015 NFL draft, may have suffered a broken ring finger during practice on Saturday. Per Bengals.com: "Free agent wide receiver Jake Kumerow left the Saturday afternoon practice with what is feared to be a broken ring finger," writes Goeff Hobson.

Kumerow, a former receiver out of Wisconsin-Whitewater, signed as a college free agent with the Bengals on Saturday. Cincinnati attended Wisconsin's pro day, which featured Kumerow; the team met with Kumerow there. They also scheduled a workout for him in Cincinnati. Kumerow was named as the Division III offensive player of the year by D3Football.com, hauling in 66 receptions for 1,116 yards receiving and 14 touchdowns.

A broken finger isn't a significant concern on May 9 and should allow plenty of time for recovery prior to training camp in late July. Where Kumerow could be greatly impacted is the team's offseason training program. They have scheduled workouts for the rest of this month, as well as voluntary minicamp practices for May 26-28, June 2-5, 8-11 and a mandatory camp on June 16-18.
