It's been a long road for Devon and Leah Still in their battle against pediatric cancer. Nearly one year ago, Leah was diagnosed with cancer, and Devon is honoring his daughter's fight with an awesome tattoo on his back:

ESPN is also commemorating Leah's fight by honoring her and Devon at the ESPYs this year with the Jimmy V Perseverance Award.

"The perseverance that Devon and Leah have shown throughout this unfortunate process is incredibly moving," said Connor Schell, who oversees The ESPYS in a statement via For the Win. "Each day that she fights, her father is by her side and their love and strength has captivated all of us in the sports world and beyond."

Stuart Scott received the award last year, as he too fought a long and inspirational fight against cancer before passing away earlier this year. At the ESPYs, Stuart authored one of the greatest speeches of perseverance you'll ever hear:

Hopefully, Leah will be well enough to attend the award ceremony, July 15 at 8 p.m. on ABC, a new network for the broadcast.
