Andy Dalton & Holtman’s Donuts Host Bengals’ Taste of the NFL
Annual Freestore Foodbank benefit combines food, football and fun
CINCINNATI – The Cincinnati Bengals and the Freestore Foodbank are passing on the fun and sprinkling on a good time. Bengals Quarterback Andy Dalton along with Danny Plazarin & Katie Willing of Holtman’s Donuts will host the 13th Annual Taste of the NFL presented by TriHealth on Wednesday, June 17. The annual Freestore Foodbank benefit will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in the West Club Lounge at Paul Brown Stadium. Taste of the NFL gives Cincinnati Bengals fans the unique opportunity to mix and mingle with members of the entire Bengals football team – including players, coaches and alumni, enjoy dinner-by-the-bite from the best restaurants in town, and help their hometown team tackle hunger in our community. More than 40 restaurants will serve up dishes including Jean Robert’s Table, nada, Via Vite, SALAZAR, Pontiac BBQ and Bella Luna.
In addition to the excitement of mingling with Bengals players and enjoying some of Cincinnati’s finest dining options, the evening will include:
· A silent auction
· A live auction of dinners with players
· A raffle featuring gift certificates to some of Cincinnati’s top restaurants
Tickets are on sale for $150 and can be purchased online at www.tasteofthenflcincinnati.
"This is a great opportunity for Bengals fans to interact with players and coaches, all while giving back to our community," said Kurt Reiber, President and CEO of the Freestore Foodbank. "The cost of one admission will help the Freestore Foodbank provide 450 meals to hungry children and families in our Tri-State area."
Since its inception in 2003, the popular Taste of the NFL fundraiser has raised the equivalent of more than three million meals for the Freestore Foodbank’s efforts.
