Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Darqueze Dennard spoke momentarily with the Bengals media this week. Dennard, one of several players fighting to become a starter -- or at the very least a significant contributor -- is facing off against Leon Hall, Adam Jones and Dre Kirkpatrick. NOTE: I figure we should include Hall, who might become more of a roaming defensive back as opposed to a player caught into one position. Here are a few comments from the latest interview via a video posted on Bengals.com:
On competition for vacancies in the secondary:
On how much his approached changed now that he's competing for a starting gig in the secondary.
Dennard also changed his diet during the offseason, dropping nearly 10 pounds and telling Bengals.com that, "I feel more explosive. I feel more fluid in my breaks, coming into my breaks, and just playing - I feel more comfortable."
