Pittsburgh Steelers sign DE Cameron Heyward to a 6-year deal

The Steelers locked down their fifth year DE, Heyward through 2020 with a $59.2 million deal. The move gives their defense some clarity heading into training camp. According to ESPN, Heyward will make about $21 million within the first eight months of the deal, most of which comes in the form of a signing bonus.

Le'Veon Bell says he's in the best shape of his life

Last season's All-Pro status and 2,000 all-purpose yards weren't enough for Steelers RB, Bell who says he's in the best shape of his life.

Antonio Brown Named Variety's Male Sports Personality of the Year

Antonio Brown collected another accolade this week when he won Variety's Male Sports Personality of the Year award at their Sports Entertainment Breakfast in Los Angeles. The event included conversations with Chris Bosh of the Miami Heat, Patriots Hall of Famer Willie McGinest, and Matt Barnes of the Memphis Grizzlies.

NFL.com Ranks Johnny Manziel 31st Among Backup Quarterbacks

This headline was pretty funny. NFL.com ranked all backup quarterbacks and Johnny Manziel came in 31st place. Bengals backup quarterback, AJ McCarron, who has never played one down of NFL football, ranked 26th in the "Just Dudes" category.

Former Cleveland Brown WR JaJuan Dawson found dead

Former Cleveland Brown WR JaJuan Dawson was found dead Monday evening in Lavon Lake, near Dallas, Texas. The 37-year-old former NFL player had rented a boat on the lake with his three children and two other adults; Sunday when he fell overboard. Authorities searched for Dawson until nearly midnight without success and resumed the next morning when they found his body.

Cleveland Browns and player liaison Jamil Northcutt parting ways

The Browns and director player of engagement Jamil Nortcutt will part ways in the coming weeks, per Cleveland.com. It's believed a promotion will come from within to replace Northcutt. Northcutt was only in the position for 15 months but had worked with Browns GM, Ray Farmer in Kansas City with the Chiefs.

Baltimore Beatdown believes Justin Forsett will be best RB in NFL

Take this for what it's worth... a biased opinion, but Baltimore Beatdown is reporting that Justin Forsett has the ability to be better than not only Le'Veon Bell and Jeremy Hill, but every RB in the league. "I believe that Justin Forsett could be the best running back in the NFL this year. No, I'm not crazy, just a little delusional," Nathan Beaucage wrote. "And yes, my 'purple tinted' (Ravens bias) glasses are off."

Ravens Super Bowl XLVII ring found in Chesapeake Bay, now up for auction

Not only team members get a Super Bowl ring when winning the big game. Everyone down to the team receptionist gets a ring, too. The Ravens' receptionist, Toni Lekas had lost her ring when her boyfriend took it to a boating dock and the ring fell in the Chespeake Bay. The ring was later found by a diver and is now being auctioned off, with a minimum bid of $7,500.
