It's not often you see Andy Dalton and Peyton Manning mentioned in the same breath, but when it comes to pressure to perform, that's the case in 2015 for both quarterbacks.

In a way, both are entering a critical point in their NFL careers that may ultimately dictate their legacies. That's why NFL.com had both quarterbacks among their list of NFL players under the most pressure in 2015.

For Dalton, he's under pressure to win a playoff game and ensure he remains the Bengals' starting QB for the foreseeable future. His contract allows Cincinnati to cut him at any point after this season with little (when you're looking at the big picture) monetary repercussions if they wish to move on from him. The hit against the cap if Dalton were no longer a Bengal for the next three years would be $7.2 million in 2016, $4.8 million in 2017 and $2.4 million in 2018.

For Manning, this may be his final year of what's been at times a spectacular career, but also one that's been full of one-and-done exits from the playoffs, just as has been the case with Dalton. In fact, Manning didn't win his first playoff game until his fifth year, while Dalton has also failed to win a postseason game through his first four years in the NFL.

Unfortunately for Manning, his recent playoff success has been similar to his early postseason struggles. In five of his last seven trips to their playoffs, Manning's teams have been knocked out in their first postseason game. If he can't lead his team to at least one more deep playoff run, Manning is going to be remembered as the 'elite' regular-season QB who dwindled when the playoffs came around.

While Dalton's overall career has yet to come near holding a candle to Manning's, the playoff struggles of both quarterbacks has them under immense pressure this year.
