Madden NFL 16: ratings released for all 32 teams, players

The guys at EA Sports and Madden NFL 16 have released all of the ratings for this year's edition of Madden.

You can download the entire spreadsheet here. Taking a look at the Cincinnati Bengals, there aren't too many surprises. The team's highest-rated players are offensive tackle Andrew Whitworth (95), wide receiver A.J. Green (92), Kevin Zeitler (89), defensive tackle Geno Atkins (89), and defensive end Carlos Dunlap (88).

Those all seem fair, but there are a few Bengals not getting enough respect in these initial ratings. Safety George Iloka received an 86 rating, which seems a bit low considering he's been a good full-time starter for two years and had a great 2014 season. His 9.4 Pro Football Focus score was the best of any Bengals defender in 2014. He was also PFF's No. 10 overall safety that played in at least 75 percent of his team's defensive snaps.

It's also interesting that Rey Maualuga (83), and Tyler Eifert (81) have equal or better ratings than Marvin Jones (78) and Michael Johnson (81). Johnson is easily one of the team's best overall players when he's on his A game.

As for Pro Bowl linebacker Vontaze Burfict and his 86 rating, he certainly is better than that when he's healthy. That's something he was rarely though in 2014 and probably won't be much in 2015 as he's coming off microfracture surgery.
