Monday's practice had perhaps the smallest attendance so far. The weather forecast had projected a possible chance of rain all afternoon, but the rain held off. The skies were very cloudy and the air was very humid.
After a bit of a slow start, practice really kicked off during the last 90 minutes. There was a lot of 7-on-7 and 11-on-11 action, and players on both sides of the ball were making big plays left and right. Tyler Eifert continued to dominate, catching passes down the seam with ease. He simply can't be covered 1-on-1. Eifert probably racked up several hundred yards yesterday alone.
Dre Kirkpatrick was extremely impressive yesterday as well. He made at least four deflections and should have caught a couple of them for interceptions. Kirkpatrick is giving up very little separation and breaking on the ball very quickly. It's clear that the game has slowed down for him. He's becoming extremely fun to watch and he's definitely earning that "Swag" nickname that began when he played at Alabama.
Some other standouts of the day were A.J. Green, Marvin Jones, Mohamed Sanu, Mario Alford, Terrell Watson, Leon Hall, and Adam Jones.
