UPDATE: Today's Bengals training camp session is now over. Check out the story below for a chronological timeline of stories straight from the practice fields outside of Paul Brown Stadium. Some of the highlights from the penultimate training camp practice were a Derron Smith interception, more Dre Kirkpatrick breakups, and Marvin Jones taking snaps with the first team offense, while Mohamed Sanu played in the slot.

Today's Bengals training camp practice session is the second to last one of the year. Wow, where has time gone! Let's get started live blogging practice. Follow along below!
Not many injury changes today. Though, Tevin Reese is newly sitting out.
As #Bengals get set for their penultimate training camp practice, looks like Darqueze Dennard, Brandon Ghee and Tevin Reese not practicing

Defensively, Dennard (groin) & Ghee (hammy) & Johnson (knee) are not dressed today. #Bengals

There are also not many fans in attendance today:

More players sitting out include the following:
Hopkins, Burfict, Ghee, Ogbuehi, Porter, Fisher not practicing for #Bengals. Don't see Dennard yet either. @Local12

This is not good news for Jake Fisher who we'd like to see on the field for the second preseason game on Monday, after he sat for the game against the Giants.

A glimpse of Vontaze Burfict... Ooh! We'd like a glimpse of Burfict. Isn't it time for our "daily Burfict update"?
Interesting to see Marvin Lewis head over briefly to rehab fields at start of practice. Might have been catching a glimpse Vontaze Burfict

The rehab field today:
Burfict, Porter, Ogbuehi on rehab field with Hopkins, Dennard, Ghee. Michael Johnson still out as well. #Bengals

Darqueze Dennard and Brandon Ghee are working on the rehab fields, too, today. #Bengals

McCarron is doing some individual drills, now 30 minutes into practice.

There's not much real news coming out of training camp yet today, but we'll take a positive post on Dre Kirkpatrick anytime!
Dre breaking up another pass at camp.

The first look at new WR Michael Bennett isn't a good one for the rookie. But hey, there's Kirkpatrick again. And, it's Bennett's first day, so no judgements, yet...
Welcome to press cvg in the NFL Michael Bennett (v Dre Kirkpatrick) #Bengals #dawgs v #RollTide https://t.co/oUHCJIo9MV

An interesting observation regarding the linebackers.
A couple straight days now that Lamur has been with the 2s and A.J. Hawk with the 1s in the base 4-3. Hope that's not permanent
— Brennen Warner (@BrennenWarner) August 19, 2015
The Bengals are changing things up today at wide receiver in more ways than one.
For second straight 11-on-11 Marvin Jones running with the first team on outside. Sanu enters in slot at 3-wide. First time this year.
— Paul Dehner Jr. (@pauldehnerjr) August 19, 2015
The Bengals cornerbacks are looking to be pretty hard to beat this season.
Adam Jones is making it really hard on #Bengals WRs today. Just broke up consecutive Andy Dalton passes to A.J. Green and Marvin Jones.
— Coley Harvey (@ColeyHarvey) August 19, 2015
Sights and scenes:
Shawn Williams & Marvin Jones with a collision over the middle. Today's "oohh" moment thus far. #Bengals
— Jim Owczarski (@JimOwczarski) August 19, 2015
Good for the Bengals' defense, bad for the offense.
After the second breakup, safety Reggie Nelson shouted: "Y'all ain't catching s**t today!" #Bengals
— Coley Harvey (@ColeyHarvey) August 19, 2015
How about some picks though?
DBs picking up where left off Monday. Pacman and Dre contesting everything with lots of breakups. No picks yet #Bengals
— Jay Morrison (@JayMorrisonCMG) August 19, 2015
Ask and you shall receive, huh? Another good play by rookie Troy Hill.
Troy Hill on the INT off Greg Little's head. Ball kind of bounced around up there. #Bengals
— Jim Owczarski (@JimOwczarski) August 19, 2015
Troy Hill showing good awareness. Pass goes thru Alford's hands, bounces twice off Little's back, stays airborne long enough for Hill INT.
— Coley Harvey (@ColeyHarvey) August 19, 2015
Kind of a wacky play, but credit Hill for staying with it and recording the pick off. #Bengals
— Coley Harvey (@ColeyHarvey) August 19, 2015
Is Burfict at practice today? If so, he's Tweeting on the job.

A special teams update:
With Darqueze Dennard out today, Brandon Tate and Josh Shaw have been taking reps as the first-team gunners. #Bengals
— Coley Harvey (@ColeyHarvey) August 19, 2015
Pat Sims may have been injured in practice today and is now sitting out:

Pat Sims looks to be done for the day with left thigh wrapped. #Bengals pic.twitter.com/o1SpjaQWk3

Another rookie impressing today:
Derron Smith continues to impress at safety. #Bengals in goal-line 7-on-7. He just instinctively jumped in space and picked off Andy Dalton
— Coley Harvey (@ColeyHarvey) August 19, 2015
+1 for Eifert and Sanu.
On a long pass to Eifert, fan applauded fact he didn't fall down or hit the garbage can. Sanu follows w: great 1-handed catch #Bengals
— Jim Owczarski (@JimOwczarski) August 19, 2015
Andy Dalton makes up for it in 11s from near midfield. Just hit Tyler Eifert in stride in a corner route. Then Mohamed Sanu one hands a ball
— Coley Harvey (@ColeyHarvey) August 19, 2015
There hasn't been any negativity about Sanu during training camp. Just a lot of Tweets like this one:
Mohamed Sanu went up high for that one-handed pass and had fans/players ohhhing/ahhing. Believe @ElgazzarBLVD will have a shot of it later
— Coley Harvey (@ColeyHarvey) August 19, 2015
Here's that Derron Smith interception:
