The 2015 NFL season is almost here, and for 17 weeks, all 32 teams will compete to have a winning record and hopefully a spot in the playoffs.
Bovada just released their odds for all 32 teams to make it to the postseason this year, and it's a group of familiar faces at the top. The Seattle Seahawks lead the way with 1-8 odds to earn a playoff berth this year, something they've done every year with Russell Wilson at QB. In addition to three playoff berths under Wilson, Seattle has also made it to the Super Bowl in each of the past two seasons.
However, that almost wasn't the case last year after the Green Bay Packers gave them a scare in the NFC Championship. Those same Packers have the third-best odds to make it back to the playoffs this year, despite the loss of star receiver, Jordy Nelson to a torn ACL this week.
Green Bay and Seattle are the top two favorites in the NFC to make it to the playoffs. The AFC favorite is the Indianapolis Colts with 1-6 odds. Playing in the putrid AFC South, it would be a small miracle (or collapse, depending on how you view it) for the Colts to not win the division and be in the playoffs this year.
The Denver Broncos are the AFC's next big favorite to be in the playoffs this year with 12-5 odds. They play a in a far more competitive AFC West with playoff contenders Kansas City and San Diego nipping at their heels.
As for the Cincinnati Bengals, they're behind the Steelers (10-13) and Ravens (10-13) in odds to make it to the playoffs this year. Cincinnati has 1-1 odds to make it and 10-13 odds to not make it, meaning oddsmakers think it's more likely the Bengals miss the playoffs this year for the first time since 2010.
