"I think I already have a job," Kirkpatrick said. "I've worked my butt off. They see it. And they see the growth in me, the maturity level in me now. I just have to say that I deserve it and it's finally time that it's come." You could do worse than picking your friends by their laughs. Not that someone’s laugh reveals whether they’re a good person or a bad person, but it’s a pretty great indicator of if you’d enjoy spending time with them. A good laugh is lovely and musical. An annoying laugh pries open your skull and grates your brain into fine shreds, plucking and discarding every last nerve, driving you more and more toward madness with every hyena-like cackle. A person with a laugh like that is bad for the world.
