Where to watch Bengals games around the world

Where can you watch Bengals games on TV if you're not in

If you buy something from an SB Nation link, Vox Media may earn a commission. See our ethics statement.

When you don't live in the Cincinnati area, it's not always easy to watch Bengals games live on TV. So, we've compiled a list of bars at which you can watch the Bengals every week of the season. Many of these bars have communities of Bengals fans who congregate on a weekly basis to watch their favorite team. If we've left our your favorite Bengals bar, let us know below in the comments and we'll add it to the list!

New York, NY

Phebe's

Location: 359 Bowery New York, NY 10003

Perks: Phebe's gets packed on game days with Bengals fans in jerseys and other Bengals gear. If you're not in a jersey, you'll be the odd man out. This is where I watch every game not televised in New York (basically, everything but primetime games) and it's awesome. They serve Skyline Chili and other Cincinnati favorites, have tons of TVs and only show the Bengals games. They also play the Bengals' fight song after every touchdown (here's a video from Phebe's), Welcome to the Jungle before the game starts and even Marvin Lewis' Hard Knocks speech right before opening kickoff. The whole place cheers and sings along; it's a great time. If you're at Phebes, come find me and say hi!

Washington D.C.

The Bottom Line

The Bottom Line offers a DC Jungle punch card and the more punches you have, the more entries you get toward winning something at the end of the season. There are also fantasy football prizes, two free Kegs at selected games, Bengals Jerseys raffles and food and drink specials for each game day. There are also FREE touchdown shots, which sounds awesome. (Thanks to a commenter for the additional info on The Bottom Line!)

Los Angeles, CA

5 Line Tavern

Location: 2136 Colorado Blvd. Eagle Rock, CA 90041

Perks: If you're in the Los Angeles area, connect with Bengals West, a group of Bengals fans in Los Angeles who meet weekly at 5 Line Tavern to watch the Bengals games. From the Bengals West website:

Great Booze, great prices, and the NFL Sunday ticket to take in all the games at once! This is arguably the best place in LA to see every NFL game at one time without leaving your seat. The Cincinnati Bengals Fans are always given preferential treatment with regards to the location of their TV, surround-sound volume on every Bengals game, and great drink specials... all despite there being representatives of every NFL team at the bar. The Orange & Black are #1, every week.

Cincy Jungle's Art Bidwell is a frequenter of 5 Line Tavern and a member of Bengals West, he says, "As far as getting to games early, it is preferred by this particular fan, since it's not only Bengal fans that go and even though it often means sitting in a bar at 9:30am on a Sunday it's worth it to get a good seat and mentally preparing yourself for Bengals victory ahead."

There are several traditions at the bar that let you know you're home, Art says. "They include the obvious 'Who Dey' chant after every touchdown, a resounding 'NUUUUUUGGGGEEEEE' after every field goal. A Skyline Chili potluck during the second Pittsburgh game (including cheese coneys, five ways, and oyster crackers). A lucky Reds bucket that is passed around and rubbed when a momentum swing is needed. And as of last season, a weekly silent auction of Bengals merchandise with all proceeds going towards the Devon Still Foundation. Not to mention some of the most friendly and personable people you'll meet in the sprawling landscape that is Los Angeles."
