Cincinnati Bengals and San Diego Chargers practice and injury report

It would appear safeties Reggie Nelson and George Iloka, both of whom sat during Wednesday's practice, are conservatively preparing for Sunday's game against the San Diego Chargers. Both took "robust turns in the stretching line" on Wednesday before sitting out during the rest of the portion of practice open to the media. Iloka, who suffered an ankle injury during the closing moments of the first quarter and missed the second half of the game last week against the Oakland Raiders, believes he'll be ready for Sunday's game against the Chargers.

Leon Hall and Andrew Whitworth enjoyed their seniority break, while rookies Marcus Hardison and Josh Shaw, both of whom missed Sunday's regular season opener with injuries, are still rehabilitating.

The Chargers also have quite a few players who sat out of their practice today including D.J. Fluker who is expected to miss a few weeks and safety Jaheel Addae who was seen in a walking boot and may also miss Sunday's game.
