Come Saturday afternoon, we'll know what the 2015 Cincinnati Bengals' roster will look like.
On Saturday at 4 p.m. the Bengals and each of the NFL's 31 other teams must have their 53-man rosters set, so we'll be seeing several more players being let go between now and then. For the most part, though, we know what Cincinnati's roster is going to look like this year, with just a few backups and third-stringers in question.
The offense will be led by a dominant ground game with Jeremy Hill and Giovani Bernard behind one of the best offensive lines in football. They'll also have a dynamic passing game with Andy Dalton throwing to the likes of A.J. Green, Tyler Eifert, Marvin Jones, and Mohamed Sanu. Rex Burkhead is another player to look out for this season.
On defense, they'll return much of the same unit that was among the NFL's best from 2011-13. Led by All-Pro Geno Atkins, this unit is coming off a subpar 2014 season, but now returns Michael Johnson to help anchor a defensive line that was once one of the best at rushing the passer. They also have a ball-hawking secondary with Adam Jones, George Iloka, and Dre Kirkpatrick.
There aren't many clear holes on this team that opponents are going to be able to exploit and use to limit the Bengals' production on either side of the ball. While they have weaknesses, none of them appear to be crippling enough to prevent the Bengals from once again achieving a winning season.
How many games do you think Cincinnati will win in the regular season?
