Week 3 Bengals at Ravens: Tecmo Bowl Futures

You can go anywhere on the web and find what the experts think the outcome of any game will be. I have my own expert. She was born in 1991 and has had my heart ever since. Her name, Tecmo Super Bowl.

In Tecmo land, the Bengals sit at 2-0 and in reality, they do too. This week the Bengals face a familiar opponent in the Baltimore Ravens on the road. Let's look to Tecmo Super Bowl for a prediction on the outcome of this game.

The Baltimore Ravens start with the football and return the kick for good field position. However, the Bengals' defense holds and the Ravens attempt a field goal.

On the Bengals' first drive, Andy Dalton finds A.J. Green down the sidelines and completes the pass for a long touchdown. I will note, Jeremy Hill fumbled on this drive but it was recovered by Cincinnati.

The Bengals' defense doesn't allow the Ravens and opportunity and Baltimore quickly punts back to Cincinnati.

At the end of the first, the Bengals lead 7 to 3.

The Bengals second drive almost mirrors the first as Dalton shreds the Ravens secondary in the passing game. A.J. Green once again finds daylight and scores.

The Ravens manage to block the extra point try.

The Ravens offense finally wakes up and Joe Flacco hits Breshad Perriman for a long score.

The Bengals passing offense seems unstoppable against the Ravens corners. Dalton hits Marvin Jones for a long pass and touchdown.

The Ravens offense can't move the ball and they punt back to Cincinnati.

In what has to be a career day, Dalton hits Jones again and the Bengals add to their lead.

At the half, the Bengals are on top 27 - 10. They have no rushing stats and Dalton is completing 87% of his passes for almost 300 yds.

In the start of the second half, the Ravens defense finally makes an appearance. The Bengals are stuffed and forced to punt the ball away.

Domata Peko gets his name on the stat sheet with a sack of Flacco.

The Ravens methodically move the ball and are rewarded at the end of the drive with a Steve Smith touchdown catch.

It doesn't seem to matter though as the Bengals passing game is on fire. Once again, Dalton finds Jones for the score.

At the end of the 3rd, the Bengals hold a healthy 34 - 17 lead.

A.J. Hawk gets to Joe Flacco for a sack.

The Ravens find some success on the ground as Justin Forsett puts the team on his back and runs for a touchdown.

The Ravens attempt an onside kick and successfully recover.

However, the offense stalls and they turn the ball over to the Bengals on downs.

The Bengals cruise to a victory in Baltimore on the arm of Andy Dalton.
