A.J. Green nominated for NFL Clutch Performer of the Week

Child, please.

Mitch Stringer-USA TODAY Sports

When you have as big of a fourth-quarter as the Bengals' offense did in Baltimore, you're probably going to have at least one player up for a national award.

Cincinnati has two. In addition to Andy Dalton's FedEx Air Player of the Week nomination, A.J. Green is up for the Castrol Edge Clutch Performer of the Week. You can go here to vote for Green to win the award, which there's no reason he shouldn't win.

Green was simply amazing in Sunday's thrilling 28-24 win in Baltimore. For his second straight game against the Ravens, Green caught the game-winning score to break the Ravens' hearts. Green finished with a career-high 227 receiving yards on 10 catches to go with two scores, but it was his performance in the fourth quarter that made this such a special game for him.

With the Bengals needing a spark, Green exploded for 101 yards and two scores, including an 80-yard bomb after the Ravens had taken their first lead of the game. After the Ravens retook the lead, Andy Dalton would guide the offense down the field before hitting Green for the game-winning seven-yard score.
