Bengals 2015 season preview, part 3: The Tough Schedule

New, comments

In this, a three-part series, Dadio McDuck and Dr. Hodgie E. Smodgie preview the Cincinnati Bengals' 2015 season. In the third part, the duo tells us how the Bengals will respond to a challenging schedule in 2015.

The Cincinnati Bengals face an uphill battle in 2015. They begin the season in Oakland, where they have never won (0-10). And they face four of the league's top 10 defenses in their five games after that.

Week 2, the Bengals host the San Diego Chargers, who had the ninth best defense last year (fourth against the pass). They then travel to Baltimore in Week 3 to face a Ravens team that finished eighth in overall defense (fourth against the run) and second in sacks (49). In their fifth game, the Bengals play the Seahawks, the best defense from last year (allowing only 267.1 yards per game). And, in Week 6, they travel to Buffalo to face a Bills team that was not only third against the pass and fourth in overall defense but arguably features the best defensive line in the league (54 sacks, tops in the NFL).

So how will Cincinnati finish over that stretch? And what will their final record be? In the following video, Dr. Hodgie E. Smodgie and I (Dadio McDuck) let you know our thoughts:
