Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Adam Jones made headlines in Week 1 by ripping off Raiders rookie wide receiver Amari Cooper's helmet and smashing the back of his head into it.
The moment spurred from an earlier incident between the two, when Cooper punched the Bengals corner in the throat.
The dispute between the two players was a two-way street, yet Jones was fined for the incident and Cooper was not--perhaps due to the fact that Jones has a bad reputation and that Cooper's "punch" could have been viewed as more of a stiff-arm.
Regardless, the whole altercation is behind the two players, who are currently soaking up some sun in Hawaii.
Adam Jones has "nothing but love" and "respect" for Cooper after the incident. And, it's safe to say their Week 1 altercation is behind them.
This is both players' first trip to the Pro Bowl. Jones was an All Pro returner last season, but for some reason, he never made the Pro Bowl. Cooper, on the other hand, is a Pro Bowler after his first season in the NFL.
For excitement's sake, let's hope to see the two players drafted to opposite teams so they can face each other once again.
