The Steelers may be down another running back as they enter the NFL playoffs.
Steelers running back DeAngelo Williams was carted to the locker room in the second quarter of the Steelers win over the Browns, after suffering an ankle injury.
The injury occurred after Williams was tackled by Browns defensive lineman John Hughes. It appeared serious as soon as Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin ran on to the field to check on Williams.

After the game, Williams was seen in a walking boot.

Williams' status for the Steelers' Wild Card playoff game is obviously in question. Williams has 899 yards, a 4.6 yards per carry average, and 11 touchdowns in 10 games started this season.
Fitzgerald Toussaint replaced Williams in the lineup and recorded 24 yards on 12 attempts. Prior to today, Toussaint had six rushing attempts and 18 yards this season.
