Good news for the Bengals: they’re unanimous favorites this week in our Cincy Jungle pick ‘em. The only other time they were unanimous favorites, they handled the Dolphins in primetime. Knock on wood this time, as they’ll be facing the Browns, who remain the only winless team in the NFL.

Three straight 10-plus win weeks for Braden have propelled him to a narrow first place lead over longtime leader Rebecca, with Anthony soaring to an even closer second place. However it was Scott who picked up last week, correctly picking 11 of 15 games, including the Chargers, who were the only correct hero pick of the week.

Along with the Bengals, the Packers and Patriots are the only other unanimous picks this week despite Patriots’ facing of the Steelers. The Steelers will be without quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, which should make things easier on the Pats.

On to the hero picks. This week, I landed a hero pick with the Jets, Braden landed a hero pick with the Texans and Dadio landed a hero pick with the Dolphins. The staff has underperformed as of late with hero picks, so hopefully things get rolling again with hero picks — and if they do, I’m going to be making hero picks every week, because at 47-45, I need a spark to get back into the mix.

This week looks set up in the Bengals’ favor, as zero people picked the Steelers to win, while everyone picked the Bengals to beat the Browns. Hopefully my hero pick with the Jets pans out, as a Bengals win, Steelers loss and Ravens loss would put Cincinnati right back into the mix.

With that, go Jets, go Patriots and of course, go Bengals.
