Bengals running back Jeremy Hill is up for a weekly NFL award following his big game against the Browns.

The NFL announced Tuesday that Hill is one of three candidates up for the FedEx Ground Player of the Week. He joins Patriots running back LeGarrette Blount and Dolphins running back Jay Ajayi.

Now in his third NFL season, Hill ran for a career-high 168 yards on just nine carries in a 31-17 win over the Browns. After not having a run longer than 38 yards in the 2015 regular season, Hill gashed Cleveland for two runs of 40-plus yards and finished with an 18.7 yards per carry average, bringing his season average to 5.2 yards per carry.

Hill also chipped in two catches for 24 yards, bringing his total yardage to 192, which was also a career-high.

As for the other nominees, Blount rushed for 127 yards on 24 carries (5.3 avg.) and two scores in a 27-16 win over the Steelers.

Ajayi rushed for 214 yards on 28 carries (7.6 avg.) and a touchdown in a 28-25 win over the Bills. He won the award last week after rushing for 204 yards on 25 carries and two scores in a 30-15 win over the Steelers.
