Cincy Jungle’s Week 5 NFL picks for every game

If the Pats lose to the Browns, I won’t know what to believe.

A week after Jason picked the Bengals, we’re seeing another first for the 2016 season: someone else (Anthony) picked against Cincinnati.

Speaking of Anthony, he was one of five staff members to correctly pick at least 10 of last week’s 15 games, along with myself, Kyle, Alberto and Week 4 champion Braden. With her first finish outside of first place, Rebecca’s lead narrowed to a tie with Kyle, while Anthony and Braden are nipping at their heels.

Don’t call it a comeback, but I’m starting to get back in the mix, only eight games back. Perhaps my three missed hero picks — two of which came last week — were what did me in. And while we’re on the subject, Alberto snagged three hero picks this week, choosing the Bears, Chargers and Giants to win. All three seem very feasible, so Week 5 will either be all-Alberto or a week to forget for our resident Spaniard. Anthony also made a hero pick, selecting the Texans over the Vikings.

Last week was full of upsets, and most people on the Cincy Jungle staff were able to correctly predict many of them. Let’s see if the upsets continue this week, as there are plenty of intriguing matchups. The matchups between the Texans and Vikings, Falcons and Broncos, and the Redskins and Ravens look particularly enticing. But for as many intriguing matchups there are, there should be some snoozers, particularly between the Patriots and Browns. If New England loses, I won’t know what to do with myself.

Who do you expect to win this week? Which hero pick looks like the best bet of the picks made above? Let us know in the comments below!
