Bengals Podcast: All the way to the UK for a lousy tie. How will it impact playoff chances?
WCPO sports anchors Ken Broo and John Popovich discuss how the Bengals' tie will affect their season. Andy Dalton talks about the team's missed opportunities. Plus, Cincy Jungle's Rebecca Toback and Bengals UK fan club member Michael Smith join the show.
It wasn’t a rambunctious flight home. At the end of shoe-horning four days, three time changes, 8,000 miles, and five quarters into a 27-27 stalemate, the Bengals were a bit exhausted and reflective heading back to the States as Sunday bled into Monday. But a career milestone didn’t go unnoticed as teammates quietly congratulated Domata Peko on his 500th tackle. That’s the way it goes when you’ve been a nose tackle for 11 seasons in the NFL. Under the radar is a way of life.

Overtime doesn't ground Bengals on trip home
In the tumultuous final minutes of the fourth quarter, and then through an entire 15-minute overtime session at Wembley Stadium the one man whose job it was to keep the Cincinnati Bengals on time, on schedule, sweated not. The breaths are easier when the plane home can’t leave without you, but it would seem nothing could throw a bigger wrench into the carefully laid plans than the first overtime game (and tie) in International Series history.

Gilbert said Monday, per Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com
Patriots' Trade of Jamie Collins Is as Risky as It Is Bizarre
New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick views his players as commodities. That can often create an icy-cold vibe around everything that goes in Foxborough, Massachusetts, but in principle, he's not wrong. In the salary-cap era, getting max value for each dollar is critically important, as is reeling in the best return for a player on an expiring contract if you don't intend to re-sign him.
