This year, NFL fans can vote for their favorite players to earn Pro Bowl eligibility via social media.
If you’re not scarred by the Pro Bowl following Tyler Eifert’s ankle injury in the 2016 All-Star game that caused him to miss six games this season, now’s the time to start voting for Bengals to make the game.
You can vote on Twitter and Instagram using the hashtag #ProBowlVote as well as the first and last name of the player you’d like to vote for. On Facebook, fans may comment on any official Pro Bowl Vote post by the NFL or a club.
Pro Bowl voting can be done on Social Media for the first time EVER!

The Pro Bowl players are determined by the consensus votes of fans, players and coaches. Each group’s vote counts one-third toward determining the 88 All-Star players who will be selected to the Pro Bowl. NFL players and coaches will cast their votes on Friday, December 16.
Fan voting for the 2017 Pro Bowl will continue via social media and online at NFL.com/probowlvote until Tuesday, December 13. The Pro Bowl players will be announced on Tuesday, December 20 on NFL Network.
From the Bengals, you could make a case for a few players to receive a Pro Bowl nod based on their performances this season. Andy Dalton, A.J. Green, Tyler Eifert, Andrew Whitworth, Geno Atkins, Carlos Dunlap and Vontaze Burfict are a few names deserving of the recognition.
But, Eifert has said he will never return to the Pro Bowl after his injury in the game in January. And, it wouldn’t be surprising to see more Bengals follow along with that this season considering the (negative) impact the game (which is essentially meaningless) had on the team this year.
The 2017 Pro Bowl will have a change this year as it will feature a return to the AFC vs NFC format. In each of the past three years, the NFL used a revised unconferenced structure that featured a Pro Bowl draft selection and made-for-TV draft show.
The game will be played on Sunday, January 29, 2017 and simulcast live on ESPN from Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.
Will you be voting for any Bengals to make the Pro Bowl this season?
