NFL Week 17 Bengals vs Ravens Friday injury report: Green out, Burfict doubtful, Hill questionable

The Bengals will be down many key players for their Week 17 matchup with the Baltimore Ravens. A.J. Green is out, Tyler Kroft and Vontaze Burfict are doubtful and Jeremy Hill is questionable. On top of that, the Bengals have placed Cedric Ogbuehi, Tyler Eifert and Clint Boling on Injured Reserve.

It sounds like Andrew Whitworth will return to left tackle this week, after a one week experiment at left guard, and T.J. Johnson could start his first game of the year at left guard. Expect rookie guard Christian Westerman to be active for his second NFL game, too.

After being limited on Wednesday and Thursday, Vincent Rey, Whitworth, Will Clarke and Adam Jones were full participants on Friday and are expected to play on Sunday. It will be interesting to see if Jones is less utilized than normal this week and if Darqueze Dennard gets a shot at playing on the boundary in the season finale.

Expect tight end C.J. Uzomah to start in place of Eifert and Kroft. Rex Burkhead will likely start if Jeremy Hill is in fact out this week, and Nick Vigil should see more snaps at linebacker, as he did last week, with Burfict doubtful. The Bengals also added wide receiver Jake Kumerow, linebackers Trevor Roach and P.J. Dawson and running back Tra Carson from the practice squad to the roster in the last week. Some of those players could be active and receive limited snaps on Sunday, too.

For the Ravens, guard Alex Lewis is questionable while linebacker Zach Orr and offensive tackle Ricky Wagner are out. The Ravens also placed cornerback Jimmy Smith on IR today.
