After six years, it’s back to the couch for the playoffs for the Cincinnati Bengals. Many of their stars will be sidelined in the 2016 season finale against the Ravens, so the team is looking to some of their promising youngsters to see what they have for the long-term.

The final episode of The Orange and Black Insider for 2016 contained a bunch of interesting topics. When looking at the heartbreaking loss against Houston on Christmas Eve, we had to ask about the futures of two rental players on the Bengals’ roster.

Has Brandon LaFell earned another contract from the Bengals after a solid 2016 output? What is the future at kicker for Cincinnati—especially after shedding themselves of Mike Nugent for Randy Bullock, who missed a game-winning attempt against the Texans.

We also recapped the weird situation with A.J. Green and Bengals management, while also playing a fun game in our final segment. Aside from the team’s drama with their future Hall of Fame receiver, a lot of conflicting news has recently came out about Marvin Lewis’ future.

Will Lewis actually retire after this season? Could he be fired if he doesn’t end up retiring after this season? Check out what Scott Schultze and I had to say about the cloudy situation.
