Bengals vs Eagles: Predict the final score

What's your prediction for the final score in Sunday's Bengals vs Eagles game?

Mitch Stringer-USA TODAY Sports

The Bengals are hoping to avoid a fifth straight game without a win when the Eagles come to town for a Week 13 clash. The Eagles haven't exactly been lighting it up on offense. Rookie quarterback Carson Wentz averages 236 yard per game and has 11 touchdowns to 8 interceptions. He ranks as the 20th best quarterback in passing yards this season. Comparatively, Andy Dalton has thrown for the seventh most passing yards this season, averaging 277 yards per game and throwing 12 touchdowns to just 6 interceptions.

The under/over for this game is 41.5 points, which is actually the lowest of any Week 13 NFL contest. So oddsmakers aren't expecting a high scoring affair and neither are we after seeing the Bengals offense score just 12 points in each of the last two weeks. The Bengals offense still ranks 10th in yards per game, but a poor 27th in points per game, averaging just 19.1 points per matchup. For some reason, when in the red zone, things aren't working out for the Bengals. The Eagles rank 20th in yards per game but are ranked 15th in points per game, averaging 23.1.

On defense, the Eagles rank eighth in yards allowed per game (339.4) and sixth in points allowed per game (19.4). The Bengals defense measures far worse in both categories. The Cincinnati defense ranks 23rd in yards per game and 17th in points per game (22.3). The Bengals defense has been improving in recent weeks and they'll need to stop an inexperienced quarterback from getting the best of them (as we've seen far too often) when Wentz takes the field.

What do you think the score of this AFC vs NFC clash will be? Will the Bengals be able to convert well in the red zone and beat an NFC East team in 2016, or will they be swept by the division?
