With the 3-7-1 Bengals’ backs to the river and the 5-6 Eagles’ backs to the city, it’s a pretty straightforward script Sunday (1 p.m.-Cincinnati’s Channel 19) at Paul Brown Stadium The winner moves to the next must game while the loser ends up watching the postseason with the Bengals.com Media Roundtable. Because the Philadelphia Eagles pick is in the 1st Round, any games that impact both the Eagles and Titans, we will be rooting for whatever gives us the higher pick in the 1st Round.

Big Ben gets rare meeting with Eli

If not for a decision here or a twist of fate there, it could have been Ben Roethlisberger of the New York Giants at Heinz Field today against the Steelers. Instead, it was Eli Manning who was selected by the San Diego Chargers and then dealt to the Giants for Philip Rivers and draft picks, allowing Roethlisberger to fall to the 11th pick of the 2004 draft, where he was taken by the Steelers.
