Bengals fans react to 19-0 lead heading into halftime

The Bengals played the best half of football we’ve seen from the team potentially all season. Scoring on four consecutive drives and ending the quarter 19-0, this is one of the highest moments we’ve seen from the team all year. And, this is without A.J. Green and Giovani Bernard. Jeremy Hill and Tyler Eifert scored first half touchdowns and Mike Nugent made two fields, but only one extra point. Fittingly, the half ended with a Nugent missed extra point (he couldn’t take the nice things we were starting to say about him). This was the fourth time in five games Nugent missed a PAT and his fifth extra point missed in as many games.

The half also included some big plays from young guys like Cody Core, who caught his first NFL catch, and it was a big one, a 50-yard grab that set up Hill’s touchdown. Tyler Boyd also added two catches for 30 yards and James Wright and Alex Erickson also contributed with catches in the half.

We asked for your first half reactions following the Bengals taking a 19-0 lead going into halftime. Here’s what you had to say.
