Silent partner being heard
Duke Tobin hates this story. Tobin, the silent partner in this decade of Bengals excellence, treats the spotlight with the disdain of an uninformed scouting report. "I don’t mind having a lot of opinions," Tobin says of the Bengals’ melting pot draft process. "What I mind is opinions that aren’t fully researched." He makes noise about one thing. He’s adamant football is a team game on and off the field.
Browns likely to pursue Bengals receiver Mohamed Sanu, who's set to move on
The Browns are expected to pursue Bengals receiver Mohamed Sanu, who's set to become a free agent March 9, a league source told cleveland.com. The fifth-year receiver could be reunited in Cleveland with coach Hue Jackson, who spent all four of Sanu's years in Cincinnati with him, including the final two as offensive coordinator. Jackson loved Sanu's versatility and would undoubtedly want to have him here, a source said. In addition to playing in the slot, the former high school quarterback can throw, run and play some wildcat.

Three bad deals have Baltimore Ravens in NFL's second-worst cap spot
At the time, it seemed as though the Baltimore Ravens were making the right decision when they extended the contract of defensive back Lardarius Webb and gave new deals to keep offensive tackle Eugene Monroe and tight end Dennis Pitta. Now all three of those contracts fall in the category of buyer's remorse. Those deals rival Joe Flacco's monstrous cap number as the reasons Baltimore has the second-worst cap situation in the NFL.
