NFL Draft 2016: Could Bengals be interested in Braxton Miller in first round

Bleacher Report NFL Draft Analyst Matt Miller says the Texans have interest in drafting Braxton Miller in round 1 of the NFL Draft.

Ohio State University quarterback turned wide receiver, Braxton Miller is apparently generating first round interest for the NFL Draft, according to Bleacher Report's Matt Miller.

Miller (of B/R) is "hearing first round talk" for Miller (of OSU) and the Houston Texans had Miller in for a visit late last week. He is reportedly "in play" for their first round pick, No. 22 overall. The Texans believe Miller could be a complementary player to Deandre Hopkins.

But, the Texans aren't the only team giving the OSU star a first round draft grade. The Bengals, with pick No. 24 are also reportedly interested in and have been connected with Miller as a first round prospect, as are the Panthers.

I don't see Miller as a first round prospect nor someone who would be ready to step in and immediately make an impact as a rookie. The Bengals will need their rookie wide receiver to play (and play well) essentially from day one on and with only one season of wide receiver experience, Miller can't be relied on to do that, despite his solid Senior Bowl performance.

The good news here is, if the Texans do take Miller with the 22nd overall pick in the draft, that will leave one more receiver on the market who is ready to step in and play from the get go. That includes guys like Laquon Treadwell, Josh Doctson and Corey Coleman who are among this year's top wide receiver prospects. All three of those players are reportedly working out for the Bengals before the draft. Miller has not yet been linked to visiting with the Bengals, though they did attend his Pro Day at Ohio State.

What do you think of the Miller to the Bengals talk?
