Pittsburgh's offensive line coach is trying to turn one dreadlock into a $500 charity donation.

Mike Munchak notoriously yanked Reggie Nelson's hair in the Steelers' AFC Wild Card victory over the Bengals, but now he's trying to turn the negative attention into something positive.

Munchak is auctioning off Reggie Nelson's hair on eBay, with a starting price of $500. Here's what his eBay ad says**:

Hey guys, big Munch here. Auctioning off that dreadlock I yanked out of Reggie Nelson's hair in our Wild Card win over the Bengals. It's been sitting in my garage for a couple of months now, and it's getting pretty gross. But since so many people on the internet seem to be into that weird kind of stuff, I figured why not make a quick buck or two for a cause that needs it?

Starting the bidding off at an even $500 and donating 100 percent of the proceeds to Locks of Love. I figured, why not raise some money for a good cause that provides hair, by selling hair involuntarily yanked out of an NFL safety's head?

**Please don't buy or believe any of this; look at the calendar. This post is not from Mike Munchak, and I do not have Reggie Nelson's missing dreadlock. Happy April Fool's Day, everyone!

P.S. If you've never heard of Locks of Love, be sure to check it out. It's a great charity that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children under age 21 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis, such as cancer. If you have long hair, or you know someone who has long hair, I encourage you to donate it to this charity; Locks of Love does fantastic work for people who really need some love.
