With the 20th pick in the Cincy Jungle Community NFL Mock Draft, New York Jets GM, retallicka selects...
Jack Conklin, OT, Michigan State
The Jets have a pretty big hole to fill with the departure of D'Brickashaw Ferguson, and I'm not convinced Ryan Clady, who they just made a trade to acquire from the Broncos, will be able to stay healthy long enough to protect whoever they have under center.
Jack Conklin is strikingly similar to Ferguson in both size and technique. He comes from a winning program and was responsible for protecting the blindside of one of the better quarterback prospects in this draft Connor Cook. A pass rusher would've been nice to take at this point, as would a quarterback, but I feel there isn't much of a falloff between the remaining prospects.
With their second and third round picks I can see the Jets taking Connor Cook or Christian Hackenberg, and snagging a tight end or safety to fill out their depth chart on offense or in their aging secondary.
