Vernon Butler, DT, Louisiana Tech

The Packers need help on both sides of the line.  With B.J. Raji now retired, Butler should be drafted to be his immediate replacement.

The Packers couldn't stop anyone in the running game, and it finally caught up to them at the end of last season, losing the NFC North crown to the Vikings and Adrian Peterson, and then again getting gashed in the playoffs.  With the top four OTs gone, Butler is the highest ranking DL on their board.  Ted Thompson strolls confidently to the commissioner's table with this selection.
