Kendall Fuller, Cornerback, Virginia Tech

When the Panthers decided to rescind the franchise tag on Josh Norman, their need at cornerback became even more desperate than it was.

Kendall Fuller is the best corner left on the board and the fit seems to be there with Carolina playing mainly zone schemes, in which Fuller will excel. He has a tendency to get beat deep in one-on-one coverage but is very aggressive when the ball is in the air in his zone. The combination of need (the Panthers' best returning player at the position is returning from injury -- Bene Benwikere) and scheme fit, makes Carolina pass on DL and go CB in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
