Bengals release LB A.J. Hawk
A.J. Hawk's return to his hometown team only lasted one year. The 32-year-old linebacker signed as a free agent last offseason but was released by the club Tuesday. The Ohio State product spent nine years with the Packers and led Green Bay in tackles for five seasons before being let go last year. He arrived last year as a depth piece at linebacker, starting 11 games and playing in all 16.

Per ESPN, Bayless’s final episode of First Take will be the day following the end of the NBA Finals, and Richard Deitsch adds that the program will continue thereafter with someone else in Bayless’s spot.
