The 2016 NFL Draft is upon us.
No more mock drafts, debating prospects or reporting every little rumor teams put out to muddy the waters ahead of Draft Day. We'll soon be seeing teams making their draft picks and forever changing the lives of the players fortunate enough to be drafted into the best sports league on earth.
That's what makes the draft so special every year: The journey these players go on just to make it to the point that a professional team would invest a draft pick and millions of dollars in them, hoping said player can help elevate his new franchise and eventually win a Super Bowl.
While the draft features seven rounds, Day 1 is typically when we see the best players hear their names called as NFL teams look to address their biggest needs with the best talent in this year's draft class. Many of the best players in the NFL today heard their names called in Round, including J.J. Watt, A.J. Green, Aaron Rodgers, Luke Kuechly, Julio Jones, Darrelle Revis, Patrick Peterson, Joe Thomas and Earl Thomas among many others.
Who's the next guy to join that class of elite, game-changing players? Read our NFL Draft profiles here! Here's everything you'll need to watch the draft.
