2016 Cincy Jungle Community NFL Mock Draft: Cleveland Browns select...

Our second pick in the Cincy Jungle community mock draft is a quarterback.

With the second pick in the 2016 Cincy Jungle community mock draft, Cleveland Browns GM bengalsfanforlife selects...

Jared Goff, quarterback, California

I wanted to take Laremy Tunsil here because in my mind, he is the best player in this year's draft. He also fits the Browns' need of a ready-to-play offensive tackle as they need help there after offseason losses. Since he was taken first by the Titans, I didn't want to reach for the next best tackle.

With the second pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, the Browns select Jared Goff, the quarterback from California. I believe the Browns need a quarterback and since trading back is not an option, I'm going with Jared Goff.

The Browns got Robert Griffin III as a stop gap and you don't know how well he will play in the Browns' system and how his development with Hue Jackson will go. Also, drafting Goff here doesn't mean the Browns need to start him as a rookie. The addition of RG3 gives the Browns an opportunity to let Goff develop and learn and gives him time to adjust to life in the NFL without being thrown to the wolves.

He has the potential to develop and should RG3 get hurt during the season, he should be able to come in and perform well. I like Goff over Carson Wentz because he has played against better teams. Also should RG3 get hurt, I believe he is more pro ready and can step in.

Mock draft order

1. Titans - OT Laremy Tunsil, Ole Miss

2. Browns - QB Jared Goff, California
