If you've been keeping up with sports this week, you'd know the big focus was on the 2016 NBA Draft.
Around 60 players get to have their NBA dreams realized, but not everyone is fortunate enough to be drafted. The good news for those who aren't drafted is the NBA Summer League offers them a chance to showcase their talents and possibly get a training camp invite.
Could the Miami Heat take a different approach with their summer team this year and add a little pizzaz to their roster?
Former Cincinnati Bengals great Chad Johnson apparently would like to play with the Heat's summer team, per Johnson himself.
Excited to play w/ the Miami Heat in their summer league this year

However, Johnson's NBA dreams appear to be a mere pipe dream as the Sun Sentinal has already shot down this claim.
Alas, the dream of seeing Ochocinco blazing down a basketball court running down his NBA dreams was simply not meant to be. Johnson has been out of the news for the most part since his brief CFL stint with the Montreal Alouettes in 2014-15, but did get a brief tryout in Major League Soccer with Sporting Kansas City, so it's not crazy to think an NBA team might give him a run on their summer team.
The good news for Chad is that his career as a McDonald's spokesman still has a lot of promise.
