UPDATE: We have an update from Bengals.com’s Geoff Hobson on the status of Tyler Boyd and Cody Core after they left the field on Saturday with apparent injuries. Hobson is saying Core had a foot cramp and Boyd jammed his knee. We’ll see whether or not they practice on Sunday when practice begins at 3:00 p.m. ET.
@JimOwczarski: Core foot cramp. Boyd jammed knee. Both fine I hear.

The Bengals are on the field for Day 2 of training camp and they have their first injury scares.
Sixth round draft pick Cody Core and second round draft pick Tyler Boyd have been carted off-the-field. Core’s injury came first, followed by Boyd’s.
Cincinnati Enquirer beat writer Paul Dehner Jr. said the injury to Core appeared to be to his leg, while Bengals.com’s Geoff Hobson says the team was checking out his foot.
Looks like leg cramp for rookie WR Cody Core, who is taken off in a cart. This also happened during rookie minicamp. #Bengals

Core carted in. They're looking at his foot

Core was also carted off the field back in May during rookie minicamp with a leg cramp that turned out to be no big deal. Still, Core needs all the reps he can get as the wide receiver position is very much up in the air and lacking experience.
Shortly after Core was carted off, it was Tweeted out that Boyd had a leg cramp.
Now Boyd is going off with a big-league calf cramp

And then, he too was carted off.
Now second rd WR Tyler Boyd leaves on cart with apparent cramp. #Bengals

Tyler Boyd just cruised right by me on a cart, hope it's just muscle cramps #Bengals @WLWT

It’s hot and these guys are working hard, so, there are bound to be some cramps and pains, but hopefully everyone is OK.
We will keep you posted on any and all updates to Core and Boyd as we learn them. At this point in the offseason and training camp program, the Bengals don’t need to share much, or really any injury information, but we’ll see if the rookie receivers are practicing tomorrow, which should be indicative of if the issues were cramps, or more than that.
