Previewing the AFC North on “ASSIGNMENT: Football”

With the NFL season approaching, I took some time to help preview the AFC North with other SB Nation bloggers on ASSIGNMENT: Football, a show on Fanspeak Radio Network.

Tom and Mike who host the show had Nathan Beaucage of Baltimore Beatdown, Christopher Carter of Behind the Steel Curtain and myself on the show to talk AFC North football.

We discussed the biggest losses and gains for each team this offseason, our season predictions and some playoff talk. Beaucage, who was pulling for the Bengals in January’s Wild Card game (and is a Ravens fan) believes the Bengals will win the AFC North crown once again. Interestingly, it doesn’t seem he has too much faith in the Ravens’ chances of being a contender this year. He sees the Ravens as an 8-8 team that could win some close games to better their playoff chances. Carter joined in late on the show, so you’ll need to listen to the end to hear his Steelers’ takes.
