Bengals Training Camp 2016: Videos from Day 5 featuring touchdowns galore

Check out Giovani Bernard making some great runs, Nick Vigil getting in a great play and touchdowns from Brandon LaFell, Cody Core, Jeremy Hill and more Bengals players during Day 5 of training camp.

The Bengals returned to the practice fields outside of Paul Brown Stadium on Tuesday for training camp on a sunny, 90 degree day in Cincinnati. It was an eventful practice for both good and bad reasons. To start with the good, there were great plays, lots of touchdowns and nice action from the offensive and defensive lines. The rookies are also stepping up and making noise, which is great to see. On Tuesday, Nick Vigil had a few good plays as did rookie receivers Cody Core and Tyler Boyd. The bad parts of the day were injuries as Shawn Williams appeared to leave early and Tyler Kroft was carted off the field with a knee injury. Kroft’s injury is thought to be a hyperextended knee and he will get an MRI today. But, let’s get to the actual footage from the day!

Sarah Mustian was back at practice on Tuesday and captured some great videos of the Bengals in work.

Here Jeremy Hill catches a short pass from Andy Dalton and takes it down the field for some additional yardage.

Hill also dropped a pass from AJ McCarron early on during Tuesday’s session.

Here’s more of Hill in running back drills.

Prior to yesterday, we hadn’t heard much about new Bengals wide receiver Brandon LaFell. Here he is catching a pass in the endzone.

Mario Alford has had an issue with drops all offseason, which continued on Tuesday, but he did have this nice catch, too.

Some Andy to A.J. action from Tuesday.

George Iloka takes training camp as seriously as anyone. Here he is making a nice play.

A look at the special teams unit.

Giovani Bernard is off!

Second year cornerback Josh Shaw has been looking good during camp. He’s taken reps at both cornerback and safety.

Nugeeeee.

Dalton to LaFell. Hopefully this is a connection that works well all year.

Jeremy Hill pushes through the pile.

Another look at Hill. There were reports that the run game didn’t look great on Monday in the closed session, but it looks like things picked up for the unit on Tuesday.

Kroft was making nice plays early in the session before going down with a knee injury.

Another LaFell touchdown. If it seems like there were a lot of touchdowns on Tuesday, it’s because they practiced situational drills and redzone passes.

Cody Core had a nice day (again) on Tuesday, too. It will be fun to see him and the rest of the young receivers in the first preseason game on Friday, August 12 against the Vikings.

Bernard attempts to leap over his teammates for the touchdown.

Another catch from Kroft (obviously, before the injury).

Here’s a nice play from another Tyler... Boyd!

A look at the offensive and defensive lines at work.

Rex Burkhead was wide open here. He could be used more frequently in the passing game this year after that was hyped up last offseason and didn’t frequently happen.

Once Kroft left the field, C.J. Uzomah was taking first team reps.

A good play from Bernard, but also a nice stop from third round rookie Nick Vigil.

Adam Jones getting into the kickoff action.

The Bengals are off today but check back tomorrow for more videos from Sarah. And, be sure to follow her on Twitter and Vine!
